What this covers
This notice covers the website axxelera.com: visiting it, sending a message through the contact form, and booking a meeting. The customer portal at app.axxelera.com has its own notice. Sequences, samples and results never pass through the website.

What we collect and why
Visiting the site
Cloudflare delivers the pages and keeps request logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser) for a short time to run and protect the service. Plausible counts visits by page, referrer, country and browser type, and clicks on the booking, email, portal and publication links and the use of the pricing configurator, aggregated, without cookies or any identifier that could single you out. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Contact form
You send your name, email address, organization (optional) and the message. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the request comes from a browser, not a bot. The message arrives in our shared inbox. If it becomes a sales inquiry, we record it and the correspondence that follows in our CRM. Legal basis: steps before a contract at your request, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
After your message has reached us, we send one confirmation with a fixed text to the address you entered. So that the form cannot be used to mail strangers, we keep a keyed fingerprint of that address for 24 hours (a one-way code from which the address cannot be recovered) and send it at most two confirmations within those 24 hours. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for the confirmation; Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for the fingerprint, our legitimate interest in preventing misuse of the form.
Booking a meeting
The booking page is Microsoft Bookings in our Microsoft 365 tenant, and Microsoft’s notice applies while you are on it. We receive your name, email address and the chosen slot, and send the invitation. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Mail to and from axxelera.com runs on Microsoft 365. Correspondence is kept as part of the inquiry or the project. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and Art. 6(1)(c) for what commercial and tax law require us to keep.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies, so it shows no cookie banner. Turnstile and Microsoft Bookings may set technically necessary cookies on their own domains for the duration of the check or the booking. The font, the hero video and the statistics script are served from our own domain; apart from Cloudflare’s Turnstile check, which the contact form loads from Cloudflare when you start filling it in, there are no third-party embeds, no advertising, no social-media pixels.
Where the data goes
These companies process data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Transfers to the USA rest on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, with the EU standard contractual clauses as the fallback.

Nobody else receives your data unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Inquiries and correspondence stay as long as the inquiry or the business relation lasts, then as long as commercial and tax law require (six or ten years, § 257 HGB and § 147 AO). A message that does not lead to a project is deleted after twelve months. The fingerprint of an address expires after 24 hours. Cloudflare keeps its request logs for a limited time set by Cloudflare; we do not receive them. Plausible holds aggregate statistics only.
Your rights
You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Write to info@axxelera.com.
